AUGUST GOALS 2017

Sunday, 30 July 2017
Hello everyone, I hope you are all well!
Firstly, you may notice my blog has had another little update with the appearance, I'm really enjoying the look of my little space here at the moment so I hope you do too! Anyway, recently I've been all about making lists. I've got lots going on and many things to do over the next few weeks so today's post takes advantage of this and transforms it into a monthly goals post. Hopefully having the list publicised means I'll be more likely to stick to it!

1 | WRITE MORE
Since my degree is just around the corner, I'm trying to encourage myself to write more and more every day. Be it blogging ideas, journalling or even just 5 minutes of random creative writing a day, I want to try to increase the habit.

2 | READ MORE
Along with writing more, I ought to read more. With a holiday just over a month away, I hope I'll find the time to settle down and bury my head in a book. Or maybe even swapping out some of my time spent on my phone / laptop for good old fashioned paperback. Here's hoping.

3 | DRINK 2 LITRES OF WATER EVERY DAY
Now this, I have been pretty good at doing for the last two weeks. Since I reinstalled the My Water app on my phone, I've gotten pretty good at tracking my water intake and keeping it at 2 litres. My skin has improved dramatically, particularly in my face, with next to no blemishes, plus feeling super soft and plump. Definitely not a habit I intend to halt anytime soon.

4 | PACK UP FOR UNI
I'm so almost ready with all my belongings, I've pretty much bought everything I need, so now I just have to pack and organise everything. A big job, but its got to be done.

5 | LEARN SOME NEW RECIPES
Apologies for all the uni talk but it's a huge change in my life so it makes sense for it to reflect in my blogging. I'm often one for repeating the same quick meals, on the odd occasion that I make my own dinner at home. But now that I'm moving out, I need to master a few more recipes, particular those I can batch cook, to save time and money. Some time practicing my skills in the kitchen with my mum, is definitely on the cards this month.

6 | SAVE MONEY
Of course, another big one. No more splurging on beauty / fashion products. This month I am hankering down on my spending and buying only the essentials... I hope.

What are your goals for August?
