Spring Skincare Under £5

Hello everyone, I hope you are all well!
In the last few months I've noticed my skin is undergoing a bit of a change. For years I had very dry skin, which slowly turned to mild blemishes, however in the last six months my t-zone has become much oiler and more prone to blemishes. To tackle this I've been switching up my skincare and I thought I'd share all the products I've been trying, which are all under £5!

GARNIER MICELLAR CLEANSING GEL WASH - COMBINATION SKIN
I've been a fan of Garnier's micellar water for years, alternating between the sensitive or combination formula, but with the world becoming more aware of it's plastic and general waste consumption, I decided to pick up the gel formula to use with a muslin cloth and eliminate the need for cotton wool pads. It literally takes two minutes to apply to wet skin, massage in and use the cloth to exfoliate and remove. It's quick, effective, cheap and leaves my feeling soft and clean!

NIVEA DAILY ESSENTIALS - 2 IN 1 CLEANSER AND TONER
This formula I used to use years ago and I forgot just how much my skin loved it. It's perfect for those of us with busy schedules, eliminating the need for an extra step by combining the cleanser and toner, whilst being very moisturising. I've been using a few evenings a week, after the micellar cleansing gel to double cleanse or alone on mornings when I'm tight for time.

THE ORDINARY SALICYLIC ACID 2% SOLUTION
My legendary best pal who has been mentioned numerous times on my blog pulls another banger with this product. She purchased this for me for my birthday to help with my increasing blemishes, as it helps to treat them drying them out. Naturally, this product also helps to control the excess oils that have also been rearing their ugly head on my forehead and nose, so I've been applying this a little more generously in those areas, so far, my blemishes are clearing and I don't look like an oil slick at the end of the day!

THE ORDINARY NATURAL MOISTURISING FACTORS - HA
After my success with the salicylic acid I decided to head to Covent Garden to check out the full range and picked up this moisturiser. The formula is very thick and moisturising but sinks into the skin quickly. I prefer to mix a drop of my Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Radiance Shot which I've been through bottles of, just for an extra shot of moisture. So far, the formulas seem to balance well together, the only issue is I'm missing SPF so may need to invest in a new one. If you have any recommendations of sun protection with high SPF and light formula for the face I'd love to know!
